An Audio Prayer Guide Presented by the Diocese of Gary’s Youth Council

 

In 2020, the Diocese of Gary’s Youth Council met and discerned how they could serve their peers in Northwest Indiana. An idea came to mind after discussing their own current experiences and needs: create an audio prayer guide to help teens and others relax when they are feeling stressed, remind them to pray, and connect their everyday life to their Catholic faith. The DYC members researched, wrote, recorded, and produced short podcasts that invite the listener to take a moment to pray by learning about the lives of saints. They also created visual elements to go along with the podcasts.
